FAQ
WHEN AND WHERE WILL IT BE?
A photo session will be held in your hospital room. Planning for filming is necessary during the first 12-48 hours after delivery, in hours with the best sunlight
HOW LONG WILL THE PHOTOSET LAST?
A session usually takes up to 1 hour 30 minutes (90 minutes).
WHEN DO I NEED TO CONTACT YOU?
Please contact me after you begin delivery or on the way to the hospital so that I can ensure accessibility to the proposed dates.
WHAT IS THE MOST FAVORABLE TIME FOR PHOTOS?
Such a photoset I provide in the morning from 10-12 AM, at this time usually the best sunlight
DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL PREPARATION FOR MY PHOTOSET?
Babies look great just in a diaper or in a white shirt. You can bring along an extra shirt for your dad (white, gray or neutral look best), and your mom, if desired, can apply some basic cosmetics, such as lip gloss, mascara and blush, if you want. Believe me, you look amazing, the best makeup is shine, happiness and love in your eyes.
DO I NEED HOSPITAL PERMISSION?
Please check with the hospital in advance. In almost all cases, photographers are treated like regular visitors, so in general, everything is in order.
WHAT IF THE DELIVERY LASTS A LITTLE LONGER THAN EXPECTED?
It's fine! Just let me know when your baby arrives and I can make a schedule - regardless of the duration of the delivery.
WHAT DOES LIFESTYLE AND DOCUMENTARY STYLE MEAN?
This means that I direct my clients to their location and activities, looking for natural, spontaneous moments that occur during the session. Most likely, I will not interrupt a wonderful moment to remove one hair from your face or tell you to tilt your head in a different way, and this is normal. I will be there to lead the session, but the goal is for you to relax and imagine that I am not in the room.
WHAT TO DO, IF MY CHILD SHOULD BE IN NICU?
We need to stay in touch. In any case, we will discuss this issue, and of course we can always postpone this photo session for a more favorable period for you and your child.
WHAT IF A BABY APPEARS A LITTLE EARLIER?
I will do my best to host your session, but please keep me posted as soon as you suspect early delivery. In addition, I usually record the number 2 weeks before EDD, as most children arrive a couple of weeks earlier.
